Will 17x10.5 cobra wheels fit in the rear of a 88GT? They are 5lug and I am gonna use ranger axles and drums.

Good luck my 17x10 barely fit on my 87. Just pull your quad shocks off and roll your fenderwells. Ohh yea dont make tight or any turns for that matter

Gil,
how does making tight turns have anything to do with the rear. I am gonna run 17x9 up front. But 17x10.5 in the rear.

I don't know about tight turns but if you do hard cornering the axle will shift and the tires may rub on the fender lip or the inner fender well. A panhard bar would help eliminate the axle movement. FWIW I fit 17X9 with 275s on my 88 with very little fender modification.

Body roll pimp, exhuast will rub and so will the inner fenderwell.

Cornering is what i ment by tight turns.
