Topic: Good cam 4 this setup

Whats a good cam for an 01 gt with all the bolt ons and ported stock heads w/ patriot valves,springs etc. The heads are not on the car yet. I also will be putting a procharger(8psi) on after the heads and cams. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

comp st.2 blowers.be carefull the stock gt motors arent known for lasting very long after going over 400

Ya a blower on a stock gt motor hmmm, get a really good tune and cross ur fingers and start a forged shortblock fund , tha motor in my GT lasted a month and I never even got to race it , but ya get a really good tune

VT Stage 2 Blower Cams, but I dunno you are really startin to push it on a stock block, might wanna invest in that instead..

Since I dont have a cam and the heads are not on the car. Would I be safe with just installing the procharger.
