I am thinking about improving braking on my fox body. I know they are a weak point. However, I have 4 lug rims on my car now. It seems everyone does the 5 lug swap.
Would it be worth it to stay with a 4 lug setup and get a baer kit or something like that. Or would the 5 lug setup work better all around. I dont really want to have to find new rims and do all of that. However, if it works better in the long run I might have to.

depends if you want to stay with 4 lug wheels(not much of a selection) or go 5 lug(tons of wheel to choose from)
im almost done parting together my sn95 5 lug conversion, just need a few fittings,94-95 brake booster/master cylinder and hopefully "smash in the bay" answers his pms, ill have my saleens today or tomorrow hopefully.

13in brakes and rear disk will be done later, just want to get teh basic's for now then upgrade later when i have money.

You could probably piece together an M2300K kit for less than a baer 4 lug kit, but you would need to buy new rims and tires.

If you want to stay 4 lug, get some slotted rotors, mark 7 calipers, hawk pads, some stainless steel brake lines, and stainless steel caliper sleeves.

Huge improvement [patriot]
