302 stock bottom end E-303 cam with 1.7 rockers Anyone ever ran this setup wiht stock heads and stock valve springs. This goes aganist my best judgement But i have a customer that doesn't want to spend any money on better heads right now. And he sure as hell doesn't want to spend any money on the stock heads.

Forget the cam, run the rockers. Alot less time in the engine and will run just as good as the cam alone.

done that combo, but i upgraded the springs. the prob you may have down the road is if the engine has a lotta miles the extra lift will eat up the valve seals. the e cam really didn't do much power wise, i may have picked up a tenth or two, may as well put in an x or something from comp cams.
