I have a 1998 cobra mustang, a lot of mods stock computer flashed Xcalibrator SCT Flasher. I took it to my tuner for a problem it starts running a little rough when it gets to 2100 rpms and up, when it hits 3000 grand it sounds like its dumping fuel or it bogs then its smooth the rest of the higher RPMs. My tuner checked the MAF Spark is fine, tune is fine according to the numbers, replaced Idle air control valve, cleaned the fuel filter. Any ideas?

yes, my tuner should me there is only 2% difference of the fuel on both sides and since he said since there is such a low percentage nothing can be done. I talked to CDT on here and he suggested lowering the timing by 2%. I can scan and post my air fuel sheet from my tuner tomorrow.
what I did diffrent to my car was that I replaced a msd dis-4 with a newer one cus I got some water in the old one, bigger bypass valve from vortech, bigger MAF 90mm upgraded to a 95mm, and a new tune. Before these upgrades I never had this problem. I mean I launch higher than 3000 rpms anyway its just annoying driving it normally.

I'm no tuning guru by any means as i'm constantly learning as i go with my ride as well......but i had a similar problem with my STFT's being off due to a vac leak which gave the car probs under 4000 rpm.
Maybe you could have your tuner take a look at that for you.
My car was throwing codes p0171 and p0174 lean in both banks caused by un-metered air entering the system.
