i was driving to work today and noticed that i had trouble puttin my 94 5.0 into gears. when i got to work i struggled to put into reverse and heard the tranny grind. on my way home i put it into 2nd then started my car. and drove and noticed at a stop when i have the clutch pressed the car still moves forward(on level ground). another thing i noticed is when tryin to put the car into gear without pressing the cultch the cars moves forward again. what can this be. ???? is it my cultch??

You clutch cable is shot, needs adjusting, or your stock clutch quadrant just gave up.

+1. If your car still moves with the clutch pedal depressed then the clutch is not completely disengaging either due to a stretched out clutch cable or a malfunctioning self-adjuster mechanism (quadrant assy.). If you have an adjustable clutch cable assembly, then it needs to be adjusted. If it is the stock self-adjusting assembly then try pulling up on the clutch pedal and then pushing down on it to activate the self-adjusting mechanism. How's the clutch pedal feel by the way? If it seems rather stiff then it may be possible that the clutch cable may be frayed in it's housing which will warrant replacement and replacement soon because a frayed clutch cable can snap.

be careful when you route the cable that you have it correctly placed.

I have about 6"-8"s of clearence from my equal length headers to my clutch cable
