Use the search feature for "torque box" under the 'Tech Talk' and 'General Talk' sections. I found some really good info on there earlier this week. Luke also has a great site full of very good information, here.

Basically you should shave the paint off around the seems of the torque boxes, have a good welder weld the seems and then add the reinforcements.

My question is how much would it cost to have someone do all of this? If the upper passenger side torque box was ripped pretty bad. I would need it welded and reinforced. (Sorry, don't mean to take over your post, but it should be good info for you too.)
