I don't think think your check engine light will come on if you cap off the smog tube because I have a o/r h pipe and the place where the smog tube hooks up was too big for the tube, so I just clamped it shut...I'm sure just finding a way to clamp the hose shut should be fine, but lets see what others say!!!

so did u just remove the tube or leave it there and cap it off? and what did you use to cap it off, anything that will fit in there? i was gonna remove the tube and cap it off right where the tube goes into the hose in the engine bay.Should be ok right? Just a bolt or plastic cap in there?

Also for small mods so far tfs street heat intake,cai.a/c delete, elec fan.underdrive pullies. how much HP am i gonna lose? ive heard from diffrent people i will gain and others i will lose till i get heads/cam.is this true?
this will be BBK 1 5/8 long tubes with matching h pipe with either my 2 chambers or 1 chambers.not sure if the 1 chambers will be too loud and cause more probs with being pulled over all the time [Frown] .
