Speedo only goes to 85, but say you had it around ~5,800 in 4th gear, about to go into 5th. How fast would you be going?

I figure he has 2.73's or 3.08's. 5,800rpm in 4th gear with 2.73's is flying...I know from experience. I tached 5th gear out when my car was stock with 2.73's and an A-trim [Big Grin]

Hard to tell with stock gauges. Top of 4th gear my car read about 117-121 the needle read 120. This was at 5,600-5,800 RPMS and needle read 5,800. Again stock gauges aren't always correct.

Somewhere in the middle of 5th gear the needle read 140mph so maybe I was going like 135-140 but I didn't see the RPMs because the car started floating into the next lane and the ass of the car was all over the place. I wont ever go that fast in my mustang again unless I make some changes to keep the car on the ground.

You barely have enough power to top out 4th gear completely in a stock 5.0 with 2.73's..

Its around 140mph or so, going from memory. Can be easily calculated
