http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=SFW&mfrpartnumber=711&parttype=267&ptset=A

It says:

Standard Flywheels are milled on computerized CNC machines producing close tolerances for proper function, ring gears reconditioned or replaced, bolt holes re-threaded, guide pins replaced.

Mentions nothing about being resurfaced but they are milled.

The surface finish should be fine. I would be more concerned with it being out of balance. The last parts store flywheel I out in my car gave it the shakes pretty bad.

O RLY? Damn I guess I'm making a call to the machine shop about resurfacing my OEM flywheel then.

Thanks for the heads up! There is a reason why they are so cheap.

It shouldn't cost anymore than 30 bucks for a machine shop to resurface yours [patriot]
