well i just put a new pump in my 89 gt and i turned the key on, and nothing happened, i cant hear the fucker, they tank is on the floor not on the car, it has no fuel whatsoever, so my question is DOES THE FUEL COMES ON EVEN WITH NO FUEL, or does the leveler sends a signals when it gets some fuel in, please i need some quick thanks

theres a push button in the rear of the car driver side there is a pannel u have to take off and it resets the pump..

That is the inertia switch, i did that already, but i need to know if the fuel pump works with resistance from the leveler or not?

try puting the tank back up in the car and put some gas in it..

i saw in mm&ff were they hook up a battery booster to a fuel pump to remove the extra fuel in the tank, and the tank was totally off the car...good luck
