Sooo my new Walbro 255 is loud(er) than my stock. It this to be expected?

Also before the install of the new fuel pump my car was at a light just sittin there then it bogged like the key was turned of. Just one bog to about 500 rpms I then came back alive to 900-1000rpms. Very weird.

Well this morning it did the same thing. I was sitting at a red light for about 30 seconds then all the sudden rpms dropped to 500 for about half a second then back to normal just as fast. No stuttering or rough idle. I'm puzzled. [Confused]

okay I feel better about the noise...doesn't sound bad just a little louder.

Any suggestions on the other issue?

The noise is normal. Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a fuel gauge? If so, then I would check the fuel pressure and adjust it to factory specs.

Did you change your filter? If not, then I would change this too.

Yohaulin has the same set up as yours and is a little bit louder than mine, so don't trip.

Okay...the noise is normal. Thanks [Frown]
Yet there is something defenitly wrong. Just now driving back to work from lunch I was cruising on the freeway and the car was missing. Not all the time very intermitant <-spelling. Like one blip every 10 seconds. Like a stall or almost like it isn't getting enough fuel...almost backfires. Car is running very strong and responsive but every little while it will miss for a split second. Its getting worse. [Frown] WTF. It started to do it before the fuel pump and fuel filter (filter is two days old).

I guess run the codes?

Yes the 255 walbros are loud if you want to tone down the noise I suggest Kennebell BAP (boost a pump) it worked for me.
