Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share this. My Jeep for the past couple of months would have a funny clutch. Sometimes it would be hard to push in other times easy. Couple of days ago i went driving down to get mail and i pushed in the clutch and heard a bang. The clutch sucked after that. It worked but i could really smell it burning and it wanted to stall a lot more than usual. I looked under the firewall and noticed one of the cables was broken. So today i replaced it check this out! [Eek!]

6 year old clutch cable! No wonder it was funny, the cable would get jammed up from the other breaks. I couldn't see any of this until i took the cable out. For a long time i thought SPEC clutches were just hard to push in. I can't believe how easy it is to push the clutch in now LOL

thats how my cable looked like when my t-5 was taken out to be rebuilt, and thank God the mechanic noticed it, it explained the shitty pedal feel that i was experiencing a few days before the t-5 took a shit

I wonder if the bad shifting my NP435 does was caused by the crappy cable [Confused] I haven't driven it around yet so i don't know. That would be awesome if i could shift it faster instead of shifting it like a semi truck haha.
I want to take it out of the garage and drive it around on my property maybe drive up a couple of the rocks around here also.
