When my friend first start his car the rpm's are fine, but ater driving for a while and stop. That's puttin it in park, the car rev's high about 1.5 or 2 grand. What is wrong???? Plus the trans shifts rought going into overdriver at a slow speed.I may sound dumn as crap but it's not my car doing it it's a friends car.

I'm going to take a stab-in-the-dark and say TPS sensor needs to be calibrated or replaced. However, knowing what year the car is and what engine it has would be helpful too [Smile]
