Tony, you can lift the motor with a hoist a couple inches and do it with all wiring and what not connected. Just undo the motor mounts which you know is not hard. It is not easy doing this under the car, but it's doable. Call me and we can do this if you want. I know you have beer ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
Call me and let me know how the intake gasket came.

Un do motor mounts,fan schroud and remove two rack bolts along with shaft/drop rack down(not remove)lift motor up.and change gasket...
If were only that easy ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
Its not that hard just watch sensors and what not near firewall while jacking up.

I had 2 inches of the oil pan gasket pop out and as soon as I shut off the car it leaked quite a bit but won't leak if running. I rigged it for now with some rtv and no leak so far. But I will tackle it when it leaks again.

Pain in the ass took me about six hours. Jack the motor up as much as possible after unbolting the motor mounts. Takes patients.

Next time use the 1 piece rubber gasket.

He knows. He bought the car as is. We installed that gasket from Ford on my 306 and have both sworn to never use anything different
