I like my FMS springs very much. And my H-pipe scrapes going over speedbumps as it is and the FMS only lowers it 1.5"

2" is a hard drop. your ride will got to shit. you will have allignment problems, and your stock shocks will blow and bottom out. id got with h&r springs. i like the design, they allow you to cut corners with a better rebound than the cone type springs like eibach has.

Eibach 1.5 drop ride not bad, and h-pipe scrapes over speed bumps.

Another vote for eibach pro-kit. A 2 in. drop will cause allignment problems, and too much scraping on speed bumps. 1.25 in. is barely noticeable. I think the 2 in. drop looks best, but looks aren't everything. The 1.5 in. drop is a good compromise.

i haven't had any alignment problems with my eibach springs. at least not before i tapped a curb. now it's a little off but it should go back. besides don't they make caster camber plates for that reason???
it does scrape on the bumps unless you can time it right to hit the gas and kinda launch over it. sounds bad but it works fine, just scares pedestrians

Over the years i have had just about every spring available for the mustang. The spring i think is best is the H&R supersports. I run the H&Rs with tokico iluminas in my mach, and the car corners amazing. IF you just like to corner the bilstiens are the way to go. I drag race and hit the corners, and i love the combination.

Bilsteins are nice, but best for corners would be Koni Yellows (doulbe adjustable.)

Glenn for you, just get something thats non progressive, so it can be more predictable, sepecially since you are doing more straight line racing than anything, then get some Tokico Illumina's for the front then the Either the Tokico Drag shocks for the rear or the QA1 rear shocks. It sounds like you have more ambisions of going straight than learning to cut corners, so get what best fits what you will be doing with the car. By choosing something in between, you will just be selling yourself short on whichever one you want to do more. There are good in between ones, but for how much money you are dishing out for stuff, its better to buy the right stuff the first time around, then loosing money into something you will just get rid of later.

If you were patient, save up go coilovers. The best way to set a car up for anything. My $.02
