i have a 90 5.0 where the temp is never stable at idle it's fine but as soon as i start driving it starts to over heat theromostat is good, water pump is good and the head gaskets are fine car has several mods with stock radiator do you think it is the radiator i need help asap

check that gauge it might be wrong change the sender for a start

If it's not that check your radiator cap for pressure.

After performing the two things above and it's still overheating I am willing to bet it's the radiator or your fan. Do you still have the original clutch fan or do you have an aftermarket one?

the pressure cap is new and the fan is a flex fan i don't believe it is the switch or sender becase the motor is running hot
