What wheels will fit nicley with this conversion on a 89 lx 5.0??? Will the 2002 Gt Bullets fit this application!?!?

I'm about to buy the conversion but don't want it unless these particular wheels will fit. 17x8's

well the only problem you'll run into in the front is that you won't be able to put the center cap on because the hub is too tall. But the back tuck very nicely as do the front. I run 255's in back and 245's in front. Same wheel [patriot]

I could swear all you had to do is install 5/16 spacers to allow the cap to fit. Here is a link that might help you...ask 50 Notch and see what he did.

Thanks for the replies. Aren't the rear axles like over an inch longer though too? Wouldn't that make the rear a tight fit? I'mmmma still get the kit and work it out.

This conversion will work for most types of wheels. But, if you are planning on installing a Ford OEM wheel such as the 1998 or 1999 Cobra wheel or the 17" 'Split 5-Spoke' wheel then this conversion will not work for you. This is due to the fact that the Mark VII rotor hat is too tall and the dust cap on the rotor extends too far out. This prohibits the center cap of the wheel from being installed.
