i took off my intake and i need 2 get the t-body off. i took off the 4 nutts and even taped the t-body with a hammer and it wont come off. please help with any tips! thx

wd 40 to losen the rust
then get a flat head screw driver,hammer and tap it lose

If it is the stock TB from 1987 then the gasket is probably stuck. Keep trying to get it off and eventually it will come loose.

well i tryed the wd-40 and nothing and its not stock. im letting the wd-40 set up and hope, there was not much rust

try taking off the tb and EGR spacer as one unit... ie try removing the whole setup from your intake. Then you can worry about separating the EGR spacer and TB without damaging either on the studs and you'll be able to handle them easier as well.

it took me about a half hour to get mine off.

Take a long strong screwdriver and hammer it between the EGR spacer and T/B and keep at it, it will eventually start to come off and slowly come out.

thxs guys i got it off as one then had to heat up the t-body because it was stuck big time. but its all off.
