Hey guys, I drive a '95 GT
And my negative terminal cable's been corroding, and although I'm pretty sure it shouldn't affect my conductivity, I was thinking of doing a battery relocation eventually so I'd change the cables in the process as well.
The thing is, my negative terminal cable gets spliced into a lot of things (like starter motor and fusebox) And I was wondering if it was sufficient, after i've relocated my battery to the trunk somewhere, to just connect those extra connections straight to the frame instead.

Any feedback is welcome in advance [Smile]

Thanks,
Ming

yes corrosion on the ground -will- have a negative impact on the overall conductivity of the cable... corrosion = high resistance.

if you do a battery relocation, you can ground all those wires to the frame, as the cars chassy is a ground.

if you want, I have the kit from summit (black box) that I dont need any more, never been used, I would sell it for cheap.
