I use HVLP guns all day at work, and they're great. Easy to use, and control of product and fan are even easier. If you can look for a non gravity feed style...personally I think they are much easier to use in tight areas. as for removing paint...really depends on what the surface is, and where it's located. If it's still on the car, better be careful. What exactly would you be removing the paint from? Remember, it's not always best to go to bare metal when repainting something.
