my car fail smog because my NO(ppm) # was high
they told me it was my cats but I try two diferent set of stock h-pipes and I still didn't pass smog what else could be wrong?

NOx is due to high combustion temps, you need to check the function of your egr system to see if its working properly.

Yep!

Make sure, the EGR passages are clear, the EGR valve is opening when vaccum is applied, and the computer is opening the vaccum control switch. The EGR's only job is to reduce NOx, make sure that system is working properly!

I think the egr is working fine because I suck on it and makes the car act funny but how do I check that the vaccum is coming on whene is supost to.
what else can I check
