i heard that if i get some "mild street" cams all i need are the cams, springs and a tune!?! if theres anything else that i will need please let me know!

also what are some good cams to go with for a n/a 2v gt?!? i want something thats sounds good in idle but will give me the best performance that is "STREET/SMOG LEGAL"!?!?

engine/exuast mods on car:
c&l 85mm mass air
c&l upper plenum

Go to a local bookseller & pick up Sean Hyland's new book. There's some great info in there regarding cams. A must read if you're contemplating swapping them out.

Dont call sheldon at big boi racing, i talked to him about my car already and i got a 03gt with the same mods as you. his street/smog legal cam will only give you around 10-15rwhp he said. He also said the best thing to do if you go through him is to get his ported heads and cams then you get around 40-45rwhp. Call HCI there cams give you around 35-40rwhp. By the way big boi racing cams and ported heads that are smogable are stage 1 the stage 2 probably do a lot more for performance stage one is just a lopey as cam [burnout]

Call HCI, they do the best cam/head job on all the modular motors around here. (916) 643-2291, ask to speak to Cole (the main man). He made a supercharged 02 Roush hit 500+HP with stage 2 work. [patriot]
