Author Topic: Factory Revlimiter on 94gt 94gt ¯ Member # 3060 posted                                 I tought it was 6250, like on foxes... but mine shuts off at like 5250! sad times, I hope my computer isnt fubar'ed any suggestions? I never heard the rev limiter oncein that car, and I know Ihad it at least to 6 at times. Something like two thirds of the fuel is cut so the engine will rev slow. Under low load conditions (in neutral) you can rev the motor to the moon since the remaining fuel after the cut-off is plenty for the motor to rev past 6225. If your car is hitting a "wall" at 5500 RPM, make sure your fuel pump, fuel filter, and the rest of the fuel system is up to par and functioning properly.
