I bought an h pipe and it has no hooks to hold it up. I was going to put it on but i noticed it had no hooks. Will it be ok to have it on there with out them? Please help. Call me at (707)315-5520. Im brian. Thanks [Confused]

See how it hangs, but my guess is you will have to fab some, or have muffler shop weld some on.

yes it will work fine. I cut the hooks off all my h/x pipes.

I also cut the hooks off. Makes installs easier. I usually get all the bolts started then put a jack under center of h-pipe(cross over section). Then evenly tighten everthing up.

My h-pipes never had any either. I cut all of them off and they are fine. You don't NEED to weld ny brackets on man.

i always noticed that your # was in the 707 area, same as me, so if you really want hooks on there, take it to ABC muffler in benicia. there really good guys and know what there doing...

You'll be fine... I ran my off road w/o hooks, but eventually just got them welded on at a shop for free.

the h pipe hangs and is about 3 inches from the ground and when i have people in the car it scrapes and im afraid that it will rip my flows off. What should i do?

Take off your mufflers and have the muffler hangers shortened and re-welded to the mufflers. This will allow the pipe to hang a lot higher.
