Im wondering what affect would a full 3 inch exhuast and long tube Headers have on HP and Torque on a stock engine. And what would it do to this setup:

Cobra Intake
GT-40p Heads
E303 Cam
1.6 Roller Rockers
65mm Throttle Body
C&L Flowtube w/ K&N Filter
76mm Mass Air Meter
24lbs. Injectors
3:55 Gears
Underdrive Pullies
A/C Delete
Smog Pump Delete
Fuel Pump 190
Fuel Regulator
2 Core Aluminum Radiator
Black Magic Electric Fan

I think 3 inch is overkill for that set-up, I will have 3" but my motor is slightly more pumped up. 2.5" should suit you just fine, but longtubes are always good. [patriot]

So I guess they just sound tight. My friend has 3 inch exhaust from the headers and his shit screams, but his car is hella fast. He says he bored it out but I dunno

yea, I hella want my car to have a hollow, deep sound. But I dont know how to get it. I thought a 3inch exhuast would do it but I dont wanna kill my power. Anyone have any suggestions? Would this sound DEEP and HOLLOW?

BBK Ceramic Long Tube Headers 1 3/4
Mid X-Pipe (Off road)
Mac Mufflers
2 1/2 Tail Pipes

Guys Make suggestions. Right now i have 40 series flows, stock headers, off road h pipe, and 2 1/2 pipes and its just loud, theres no deep rumble

Run 2 chamber flows, that would get that hollow sound and if that doesn't do it an h- pipe will also help, but then you would have spent lots of doe, just for the sound!

no need for long tubes there man. Get yourself some Bassani headers, X-pipe, and mufflers and you'll make lots of power with that setup [patriot]

3" is not over kill for a 351w unless you are building a near stock or very mild motor! [patriot]
