i'm running bfgoodrich comp t/a zr 225/50/15
for street tires.
i need to know which is the best for me

which slicks and what size tires -(10 hole rims)
which gears? 4:10
which posi? auburn?

i drive about 50-60 miles on the freeway to the track every week
and drive to work-40 miles a week

with the street tires i have the motor will be reving at 3200 w/4:10 at 70 mph

if i go 4:10's will i need to get 255/50/15 tires?

i live 30 miles from irwidales 1/8 mile
and thats the track i spend most of my time at.

oh i have a stock 5.0 block with gt40 irons and gt40 intake. no power adder but my right foot [Big Grin]

4.10s, although 225/50-15 is a *puny* tire. Not so much in width as it is in height. A smaller tire effectively increases the overall gearing effect.

When you step up to a 26x8.5 ET drag you will be greatly rewarded.

They'll be fine w/ your current 225/50-15's though. It's a great gearing advantage.

rebuild your stock rear if you are getting the one wheel peel. Extra friction pads and the F-150 'S' spring wouldn't hurt either [Big Grin]
