Does anybody know for sure what the real stock rev limiter is set too. I'm hearing 6250 and 6050. My guess is it's actually 6050 and the stock tach is reading 200rpm off thats the difference im seeing with my aftermarket tach. If thats the case then it would look like on the stock tach that the rev limiter is 6250 but in reallity it would be 6050.

I know my 5.0 has a 6,250rpm rev limit and its a fuel cut out, not ignition-(dangerous)..I've installed a MSD with a 5,800 rpm "pill" in it, so it kills ignition not fuel anymore..

I dont know about 99+ 2v 4.6's but I doubt? that the rev limiter is lower than a 5.0..
