I'm sure everyone is sick of exhaust questions but I decided long tubes arn't worth the possible headache with smog or clutch changing.

Can anyone make a suggestion please? I really want exhaust that will fit well and pass smog (at least visually)

thanks!

oohhh man, them long tubes will work real well with your combo...

But if you want shorty's, JBA seems to be the highest quality out there & smog legal. I can't say for certain 'bout other brands.

Almost any H-pipe w/cats will pass. I have a stock H-pipe lying around, & just bolt it up every 2 years. I run my off roads 99% of the time.

Go to some hole-in-the-wall place that speaks poor english. They usually could care less about headers. Only looking at PCV lines, air tubes, etc...

JBA's seem to be the most raved about but I've never heard BBK's complained about and they are half the price. I'd go with the BBK's if I were you. Other than that if you want to pass smog the best way to go is get the off road pipe and then keep your stock H-pipe and switch them when it comes time to smog. If you don't feel like switching Bassani is the best catted pipe hands down. [worship]

BBK quality control sucks ass.

All you with BBK exhaust pieces, measure the openings. I'm sure you'll be 'plesently' surprised. [Roll Eyes]
I know I was..... 2 inch ball ends, huge weld beads in the primaries...smaller openings then all but stock E7 exhaust ports.

Yeah, BBK sucks! [patriot]

If you got the money I would go with Bassani...If you dont have the money the Ford Racing headers are great!..

in my opinion those smog only shops are fuckign shit....60 dollars for the test and 8 for the slip....you can just go to the state smog referee and get it done for 25....out the door with the cert....and they could care less if you have aftermarket shit as long as it passes....or has a cali eo #...
