If you were to swap out the stock heads on a higher mileage (126,000) engine with say some Edelbrock Performers RPM's or World Products of the same size are then any potentials dangers that I would have to worry about that I wouldn't have to worry about if the bottom end has been freshened. Main concern is blowing the motor.

Would you do it or have the bottom end freshened up then do it.

well I would not recomend it couse you might have really worn parts like bearings or rings and well you will end up doing the work twice

Do a leak-down test. Or have one done. If you have more then 10% leak, it'd be wise to freshen up the bottom half. If it's under 10%, everything should be cool. No need to replace something that isn't broke!

Amen!! I dont know why every one is "rebuild happy". If its runs good, and the leakdown comes out ok, RUN IT!
