It it leagl to have a cage made from 6061 T-6 Auminum. [Confused]
I was just thinking it would save weight and look sic.

wouldnt aluminum bend easily? kinda defeats the purpose if it does

i think youre required to have a steel cage... i dont think id want to be under an alum cage in a rollover anyway

why not just get those "monkey barz" or whatever type show cage? or a show cage from autozone or something? I'm not trying to flame just saying if you want a show-bar setup, get one!
(I've seen spray painted PVC tubing that looked pretty darn authentic)

I was just asking because of the weight also, I was not refering to conduit aluminum that is commonly used for appearence items. The 6061 T-6 I've always have had to retempered it after it was welded. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
But it was really just curious it kinda sounded like a fun challenge. [patriot]
