I'm looking for the better all-around tire.

I would go with the Nitto's if you want a tire that will last. Those are the ones I’m going to be getting pretty soon.

I have Nittos. Used them on my 95 GT too. I prefer them to BFG and Goodyear.. these catch faster and corner better. When it's rainy, they are less slippery too.
Just my 2cents worth
