Hey, I have a 92 hatch and I was thinking about getting some lowering springs. What do you guys think I should go with, Eibach or Ford Racing. My only concern about the Eibachs is that I won't be able to get in any driveways without scraping. I know that because the springs are harder it won't be to bad.

Tell me what you think I should do. Pictures would be cool if anybody has any.

Go with the Eibach Pro Kit if your worried too much about scraping but i iwouldnt get the FMS springs if you are trying to go for the lowered look because they dont look like they lower your car at all.

This is my car with Eibach Sportlines with no isolators.

You may want to check out who manufactures the FMS springs, cos when I lowered my 97 Cobra with the Ford kit, the springs were actually made by Eibach !

Well although they are made by Eibach supposdly, i just stated that if he was going for a lowered look dont go for FMS springs cause they look like stock ride height practically and for looks wise the springs are a waste although they handle great! [Smile]

I used the Eibach Pro Kit a few months ago, and the alignment is way off to the left. I got it aligned and wasted my money because it didn't do anything. My tires only had about 10K and were in great shape - I've had to rotate them off the rims already because the wear is so bad. I wouldn't suggest lowering your car if you don't have the money for C/C plates.

You have to cut the dead coil off of the back springs if you go with the FMS c springs. I used those and got 1-3/4" drop w/o the isolators. They are basically the same as the eibach pro kit. But a whole lot less money.
