I've lowered my car with Eibach sportlines 2.25 inches and i want to go lower. I keep seeing other stangs lower than mine and i like the look. I want to remove my isolators but will the ride quality suck I was thinking you might be able to hear the spring rubbing. What will happen if i remove them.

Ive never had them squeek without isolators.

Anyone that is a handle master head will not have isolators in there because they flex and cushion actually changing spring rates instantaneously.

On a street car they can be nice but if you choose the right spring and shock/strut valving you wont have any issues without isolators.

The rear rubber tube inside of the rear springs, if left out, can cause a clang when going over speed bumps if you drive like a mad man over them.

Spring isolators are the rubber round pieces on bottom of the springs, correct?

Isolators are the bushings between the spring and the front A arms, rear control arms.. My car felt better without them...little harsher ride.. nothing big though.. and drops about 1/4" more int he front maybe a little less in the rear
