I'm thinking I may have fouled my NEW MAF . I just carefully cleaned/reoiled (lightly) my K&N and immediately after putting it back in my car seemed unusually sluggish.

Contact cleaner or a match over the element should clean things up, right?

Woah, a match will leave way too much soot. Try WINDEX cleaner first.
