Just finished restoration on a 1989 Hatchback for my son. After a 5 week restoration project, I'm now looking for car for me. This is going to be a garage queen. She's going to be driven and shown at local shows and Mustang Club of America events.
I do not want your bastardized race car, sideshow car, your donk mobile, and heavily modified can't pass smog because you've messed with the exhaust and or smog equipment. Ok, with that being said here is what I am looking for:
Convertible or Hatchback only. Prefer GT but LX with 5.0 OK. Cobra?
Car must be painted its original color. (Prefer Original Paint)
No red interior.
No seat deletes.
No salvage titles.
No odometer issues / car fax verified.
No roll bars or windscreens.
Prefer original motor. (Or upgraded Cobra heads etc)
Any associated paperwork for the vehicle. (Original Bill of Sale, Maroney Sticker, Renewals etc)
Looking for a car that is 99% complete or more. This car will be scrutinized by judges and it must be right.
Not opposed to buying one from out of the area, but will have a 3rd party inspection.
