SOLDD

Hey CA fords,

I'm using my buddies account because Ca fords hasn't let me make an account for some reason.

Anyways, I've got some 3 month old fr500s with pirelli 285 35 18s on a 18x10 rim and 265 35 18 on the 18x9 fronts. fronts 60 percent, rears 75-80 and sticky.

Looking to trade for Fr500 in 17x9 fronts and 17x10.5 rears with tires. (My car is a 66 mustang so the 18s are a "tad" oversized)
Thanks

Call or text 510-978-7628 since I won't get the PMS names Marco

Raven mach:

Great Minds think alike.

Marcos123:

Great name and expect some issues with fitment. To be exact, the upper ball joint will touch the lip of the rim with a 17. That is the reason why I chose 18 in the first place because with an 18 and short upper ball joints the 18 fr500 will clear on a stock style upper control arm, but when I went coilovers, the company I bought the coilovers from does not make a shorter ball joint to clear.

[Frown] So now I run a spacer. and since I run a spacer already I don't need to worry about hitting the upper ball joint with 17s.

Since your car is a 67 the fenders are pushed out 1.5 inches more than a 65-66 body so running a spacer is all you need if you want to run 17x9 fr500. backspacing is key. Since the fr500 has about 6 inches of backspacing that will be your problem.

In case your wondering my car is flared 1.5 in front and 1.75 out back so that is why the wheels don't rub or stick out.

Hope that helps
