Hi:
I'm looking for an e303 cam for my 5.0HO engine out of a 93 Ford Thunderbird. While there are more aggressive cams, from my research, it looks like the e303 will be best for my needs (not b303 or x303) since i plan on keeping my e7 heads and stock 1.6RR for now. It looks like I will be forced to buy new springs though or risk valve float.

I'm willing to pay cash or perhaps we can work out a trade: I have lots of 89-97 tbird interior/suspension/electrical parts from two 5.0 tbirds and a SC I parted out (no engine or trans bits available though -- sorry) including a 8.8" IRS Differential w/ 2.73 gears + TractionLok.

I also have an GT40 upper intake + throttle body from a 95 explorer if that's of interest to you (was assembling a kit but getting a better cam takes priority).

I'm in the Bay Area. Please txt me at 415-6 nyne 1-four eight two two if you might be able to help me out.

Thanks,
-g

Go here http://www.diyporting.com/index.html for AWESOME info on making those E7's work on a budget including tips on valve face angles.

Thanks for the tips; I saw this site and will be doing a bit of grinding. I suspect this work with the iron heads won't be as easy as when I was messing with my tbirds original V6 though (aluminum heads).

The priority right now is to refurb the bottom end though.

yes, I know they are relatively cheap but i'm trying to work within 24 Hours of Lemons budgets. I'll take any penny I can save.
