Author Topic: Built 96 cobra part out vortech, tko 600, grigs susp, coilovers, fuel system + more TOPnotch ¯ Member # 1340 posted                              96-98 cobra 4v Vortech T trim kit. Complete kit t trim head unit 2.93 pulley, main bracket, idler pulley, belt, feed & return lines, coolant tube, anderson ford motorsport power pipe, vortech aftercooler, affco heat exchanger, pump, lines, water tank, all hoses clamps hardware ect. $3000 Stock 96 fuel tank with -8 fuel pickup, -8 out of tank with -8 to -6 AN y fitting, twin external 255 walbro fuel pumps, -8 filter -8 feed, -8 to -6 AN Y fitting to 1/2" billet rails, aeromotive return reg, -6 return All fittings are AN push lock style with black push lock hose. $750 96-98 teksid aluminum block, 8 bolt cobra crank, H beam rods, dished low compression pistons tool steel wrist pins, moroso 9qt pan. I dont know the exact details of the internals at this time as I did not build this engine. However I do know that there was no expense spared when it was built. Will have more details when I get get it apart. Would recommend a freshen up it was built quite a while ago and has probably at least 10k miles or so. Great start to a engine build $1500 96-98 cobra B heads fully ported, custom blower cams specs unknown most likely SHM re grinds I think? Heads will make 600+ with boost no problem. Also recommend a freshen up at least a valve job and surface. $800 ARP head studs $100 96-98 IMRC aluminum delete plates $150 96-98 cobra intake manifold $400 Accufab single blade throttle body $200 Ford racing 42# injectors $200 SCT big air 2600 air meter $150 Bassani mid length headers ceramic coated $ 200 Bassani x pipe to match mid length headers $150 Tremec TKO 600 trans .86 road race 5th gear, aluminum 4.6 bellhousing with pro motion girdle, pro motion shifter, fidanza 8 bolt aluminum flywheel, spec stage 3 clutch, urethane trans mount, new 3" steel driveshaft, steeda driveshaft spacer & bolts. $2500 Grigs heavy duty torque arm, crossmember, new hardware & urethane torque arm mount in package $450 Grigs tubular lower control arms with urethane bushings and coil spring mounts $150 Koni yellow single adjustable front struts fairly new aprox 5k street miles with grigs coilover kit and 375# springs $450 Koni yellow single adjustable rear shocks aprox 5k street miles grigs coilover kit and 275# springs $350 Maximum motorsports camber caster plates like new condition $150 1996 Laser Red cobra convertible, clean title tan interior & tan top, custom recaro reclinable seats covered to match intereior, s-281 wing, saleen speedster tonneau cover, black 18x9 saleen wheels Rs3 285/35/18 & 245/40/18 tires. Car has just over 60k miles and it shows this car is beautiful for its age has a few minor blemishes here and there but deffinatly one of the cleanest 96 cobras you will find out there. A/C blows ice cold, everything works. Car is currently registered. Selling as a roller complete interior, complete stock suspension front and rear, sub frame connectors, grigs panhard bar, grigs bumpsteer kit, grigs solid rack bushings, battery relocation in rear. Factory cobra brakes all agound, richmond 4.10 gears in rear $3500 All parts are in great shape. Prices are firm. The more you buy the better deal you get. Bring a truck and some cash.
