will only trade for some good mid length headers. dont wanna fuss with the longtubes. They are in great shape.

initial work is not the prob. I dont want to re do all the work everytime in need to mess with my tranny. i dont need the hp, i just wanna finish my exhaust all the way out.

if ur not goin with LT's....why bother? but if you want "headers" on ur car go with some shorties.... should be good for sumthin with the blower...

LT's or nothin IMO....Shorty's arent worth the hassle on a 4.6 & the gains wont be that great. Your car is already making good power with the stockers, so if your going to go through the hassle of dropping the K member, do LT's or leave it alone....

if they arent full length, theyre midlength to me. dustin, i believe even adding some decent short headers will produce good numbers since I am supercharged. If I was N/A then it would be another ball game. [patriot]

im figureing hp. they are two different styles but they put down the same hp for my application. nice pics though.

So I have been reading all these posts concerning LT vs. Midlengths vs. Shorties.

How do y'all who are using LT or midlength headers pass smog? Do you just hope to get lucky with the tech, know a guy, or what is the deal?

I would love to get some mid-length or LT headers, but I do NOT want to remove em every 2 years to pass smog.

i think with some mid lengths it would be hard to see them on a mod motor car. i dont think a smog tech would crawl under my lowered mustang to check.

they are very nice headers bbk ceramic coated longtubes retail for well over 500 plus tax and shipping. 350 is a decent deal. im not gonna give these things away.
