does it bolt right into a fox or does it need to be fab, sorry for the noob question. but i'm interested if it fits into a fox

They will bolt into your fox. They will sit about an inch higher and you will need to fab up the wiring to make the driver power work. It is a easy job. I have a set in a 87 fox and wanna put another set in my other car.

fyi, 700 is the going rate for these seats in excellent condition.
for inexpensive/light weight seats you might want to check out apex seats. their sister company, surpluscomputers.com probably has em. i paid $150 for a pair for my fox.
