Well after 12 years of ownership, I need to sell my 83 5.0. This car is either one of two things for someone. 1. A good way to make some cash. 2. A great start to a race car. I want to sell the thing whole if I can. My loss is your gain. I want 1500 for the car as is. Here is what it has.
MOTOR
306 long block 20 miles on motor
GT-40 heads, 1.7 comp cams forged rockers, trw forged pistons, comp cams 280h cam, edlebrock intake for 83-85 mustang, matching edlebrock 600 carb, edlebrock 75-150 nitrous kit(not hooked up yet) msd digital 6 ignition and coil, rpm window switch, all accessories on motor and ran just long enough to break in cam before it was parked.
Driveline
Spec stage 3 clutch, bbk quadrant, 93 cobra t-5 40,000 original miles on it and perfect, ford MS alluminum Driveshaft. 8.8 inch rear 2.73 gears but it is rear brakes disk off a 93 cobra. Front brakes off a 93 cobra.
Suspension Only goodies are the bigger 1 3/8 inch sway bar off stock 83 stang and ford MS C springs.
Car has 17x9 Cobra R's all the way around with 500 miles on Kuhmo tires-235/40 and 255/40 rear.
Interior
I have no interior in car but have a complete 89 grey interior with dash and 95 cobra black seats. I also have new carpet, weatherstripping, door handles and all new lights to go with it.
Exterior Body is pretty straight, never been recked. Passengers door has a dent and thats about it. Car does need paint(its faded red).
I hsve owned this car since i was fourteen and it is very hard to part with it. I would love for someone to buy it and turn it into something great. I just dont have the time or money. PM me or post up if interested.

I also forgot to mention that it does have BBK un equal length crome shorties, bbk underdrive pullies, and a dynomax catback with dynomax race magnum mufflers. I also have a ton of extra parts to go with it. Anything from new headlights, carpet and weather stripping to a 3.27 posi diff with 40000 miles on it.
