Just got this email this morning:
Attention Racers,
If you have some left over drag slicks we need them. Leonard Pichler (track prep) needs your old drag slicks to drag our track.
Bring them out any time. Gates are open everyday 8am-7pm and weekends when it's not raining. If you need special arrangements please email me back.

Do you know if dirt car tires will work for them? I have a few damaged Sprint Car tires I could drop off.

Just confirmed:
"We have to have drag slicks because of the softness of the tires. They need to be able to "smear" the rubber on the track."
