Nitto's can be very tricky to launch. But here's what works for them. Back into the water box, put it in 1st and spin it real quick to get the wheels wet. Then roll out of the box put it in second gear bring the r's up to 4k drop the clutch (the car will sit long enough for you to get your foot on the brake) You need to feed the gas in at the same time our you will kill it. Press the brake hard enough to just hold the car. Do you burnout in the 5500 range. When the tires get warm the RPMs will drop down. At this point feed more gas in to bring it back up for a couple of seconds. Let off the brake and drive it up to the line spinning for a little bit. Stage bring the R's up to about 2800. When you launch let the clutch out fast and feed the gas in at the same time. If you bog then next time bring the launch rpms up a couple of hundred and try again. If it spins hard drop the launch rpm some. A little spin is better then no spin. I was able to run consistant low 1.8 on nitto's a few 1.7s
