you dont need a cage/rollbar if your in the 13's. You dont even need it if your in the 12's. All you need for 13's is a helmet. If your running 12's I think you need a driveshaft safty loop.
I'll be going up on the 12th with about 10 cars in one group and 9 or so in another group.

Are you making this stuff up? Have you read the NHRA rulebook? (Sac follows their standards)
Run a 13.99 in a vert, you need a rollbar, period.

LMFAO, thanks for the info. Next time my convertible runs faster than a 13.99 I will just tell them that you said they were full of shit and I have a helmet.

I didn't see "drop top" before I left. I posted when I was on my lunch and thought about it after that maybe he was in a convert and thats what the other guy meant when he said he needed a rollbar. Oh well.

Yeah, cant say that I was aware of that rule...So I blew $50 in gas driving up there for NO REASON. They wouldnt let me run,but at least they refunded my fee. Track times for the rest of my freinds werent what we expected either. Shitty day. Should have brought my Z instead.

From your first post I didn't think that you realized that and that was why I responded so quickly, hoping that you would read that before going. Sac and pretty much any other track follow the same rules (Sac is more flexible to first timers though). Goodluck
