Stickier than my clutch can handle! They are aslo more stable going down the track than the dirt track tires.

I'm going to deffinately vote for the slipping clutch. Either that, or a late 3-4 shift

You can see where the MPH fell off on the big end of the track

I have several slips with 9.6- 9.4 1000' ET's on them (the other lane, duh), all of them were 11.3-11.6 cars.
Ever seen a bogus timing light tripped by who knows what? That's my guess...
If you were 9.6 at 1000' even with the trap speed of an 11.9 car you'da run an 11.6 easy. 1/8 mile doesn't support that.
Spray down the back half, did ya?

Not gonna bite, huh? Damn. How about there aren't any trees at Sac raceway? Isn't that a huge flaw? We can ignore the fact the car in the other lane that ran 12.17 and 10.15 at 1000'....

wouldnt the clutch slip more at the beging when it is under more of a load? or does it slip more as it gets hotter? sticks are gay.
To me it doesn't really make sense everything looks 100% correct except for the 1000' maybe the timing boxes were staggered.

Christopher,
The higher the gear you are in the more of a load on the motor/clutch.
