Obviously, these are approximations, but I can tell you, if you are running naturally aspirated, they will be pretty close. If you are running boost or nitrous, they may be significantly off.
I would use them only as a reference.

thanks. best 1/4 mile run last nite was 11.48@119.81 with a 1/8 mile of 7.35@95.11 best 1/8 mile (had to click it off) 7.27@97.08

it sucks you cant shift that thing any higher to build more boost.

no he was purposely leaving it in drive and short shifting it, i guarantee that motor redlines a lot higher than 4800 man

the tranny isn't shifting any higher, Im sure it can spin 6500 easily, and build almost twice the amount of boost its seeing now and run somewhere in the 10s. [ October 09, 2002, 02:16 AM: Message edited by: nickn ]

When I used to race it I would shift it at 6k, if I short shifted it I would drop a ton of mph
The problem he is having is he is not sued to auto's and doing the AOD Shuffle and the one time he tried it the damned shifter handle popped off!!
It did that to me also at the Detroit vs Imports race back in 98.
I think with a 6k-6.5k rpm shift point that thing will run 10's easy, then put the 12-14lbs of boost to it and look the F out!!!!
