12.838 and i lifted!
i am getting 2.1 60' times now, so the spin is getting under control on the launch, but the second gear spin is just about uncontrollable...
i'm getting sticky tires asap!
somehow i missed getting the 4.10 gears from Albert...we talked a bit, but when round 1 was over, he was gone...

what happened, man?

i broke out in the third round with the 12.838 on a 13.1 dial-in. DOH!
my best MPH was 114.655

now to get her tuned for the 42lb injectors...
maybe in a couple of weeks when i have some free time!

well, i went 12.9 the first time out with the car, so i'm more impressed with the 115 mph trap speed, which with gears and slicks, should net 11s...

once i get it tuned, i expect to be around 120 mph at the stripe...

my LX is still a lot faster, but the cobra is much more fun to drive around in...

Did you race a Blue 91GT on Sunrise after the track?

Heather (91PONY) said she saw a 98 or so Cobra with a 13.1 dial in & figured it'd be a good match, but got toasted!

yeah, i raced that car!
[Smile]
she really got a good jump, i was dozing, or something...

my car is blown, 6lb S-Trim...
still limited by 24lb/hr injectors, so there's more in there...

the heads are ported (just pocket work) and i'm running SHM blower cams...

still only 1k miles on the new motor, so from what they tell me, it should get stronger over the next 4k miles...

hey sounds cool. I ran a 12.6/12.8 at sears a few weeks back with my combo too. I wanted it to be like a 11.9 though. after about 330' it's like a cylinder got dropped or something. [patriot]
