Okay, I'm getting really antsy, and really want to take my car to the track. Anybody know what's going on this friday at sac or anybody going?

Hey Jim, what kind of subframes are you getting? Could you post up and let us/me know how they feel after you get them on. Also, did you figure out what that knocking sound was?

we leave around 3:15-3:30 from Vacaville. That will put us there around 4:30-4:45 depending on traffic. Your more then welcome to cruise up with us.

I put in the Maximum Motorsports standard subframes on top of Wolfe Racecraft lower torque box reinforcements. An article should be up on Fordmuscle.com by next week. The guy doing the welding used to work at Griggs and now works at California Street Machine. The car feels good but I haven't had much chance to drive it. It does feel different when you try to launch- hard to explain. I will report back after Fri. night T&T at Sac.

ps- still clunks- driveshaft and u-joints OK, exhaust doesn't seem to be hitting anything, tranny mount OK, shock mounts OK. Thinking it is my very tight Trac Loc w/ F-150 spring.
