John91, What time are you going up there? I would really love to see your car run, but I am working on my car tomorrow, then going to that meet.

I should be arriving there at about 9:30 or so to try to get some early runs in.

Nice. I remember seeing your car at Sac about a year or so ago. What have you done to it since? What is your combo?

power-wise: 302 from a '92 stock bottom end and cam out of the box edel 6037's and a cobra intake 65mm tb 75 mm bullet 36 lb lucas inj. aftercooled SQ @ 11 lbs. msd digital 6 plus eec tuner mac lt's dr gas X tremec 3550 3.55 gearsi was considering more boost, but ive heard horror stories of cracked blocks and such with even less power than i have now. my plan is to keep tinkering with the EEC tuner to make the most out of the boost i do have. the aftercooler makes a huge difference, and here's proof: 2 weeks before last weekend, i went to sac but only made 1 run, with the aftercooler defunct. the problem was the dry ice i put in the water box. i used pure antifreeze so there would be no change of frozen water. nothing froze, but the coolant got SO cold, that it wouldnt flow. it was like honey. the poor bilge pump (magnetic drive, like a speedo) wouldnt pump it, and i had to make a run without anything flowing through the aftercooler. that run was a 12.6 @ 116. 2 weeks later i picked up nearly 6 mph from the aftercooler and it's benefits. i just finished installing the complete MM setup. Torque arm , PH bar, coil-overs front and rear... it handles like a go-kart now, and the baer's keep it stopping. i recently drove a friends mustang that still has stock brakes... OMG! the TA sure makes a big difference... on plain radials i can manage 2.0 60-ft times. ttyl jahde
